What We Do

The American College of Nuclear Medicine (ACNM) is comprised of physicians and other nuclear medicine professionals dedicated to enhancing and advancing the practice of nuclear medicine through the service excellence, education, and innovations in the clinical practice. The College provides a forum for nuclear medicine professionals to interact to enhance the utilization and advancement of nuclear medicine. Additionally, ACNM represents the interests of nuclear medicine physicians before legislative and regulatory bodies and other medical organizations with the goal of assuring a legislative, legal, regulatory, and economic framework that advances the safe, effective, appropriate and innovative use of nuclear medicine procedures to improve health outcome and the quality of service available to patients.
